Margaret Pleiss was very religious, though not a pious woman. She was fun loving and always thinking of other people. During her life she was active in a great many organizations dedicated to helping others. Her childhood friends were dear to her and she kept in close contact with them throughout her life even though she moved far away from Missouri.
