I asked Kimberly Wulfert to write a bit about her online used quilt history bookstore. I have been amazed at how quickly quilt history books go out of print and now I understand why. Here is what she wrote for us.
"Are you building your quilt history library? The books made for this field of interest are made in small runs because they have a select audience, rather than a general population appeal. This means you have to buy them when they come out or you miss them. That's when used books become the best way to go. I have been building my library for nearly 14 years now and know what books are valuable and hardest to find.
I buy these books when I come across them at local bookstores in southern CA and sell them on my website at http://www.antiquequiltdating.com/booksused.html. l Currently there are some out-of-print contemporary books for sale too, by Velda Newman and Ellen Anne Eddy, which are in high demand.
