Houston 2005 Best of Show: Incredible Quilting on a Longarm

What is considered in the quilt world today will become a part of future quilt history. That is why I believe the Houston best of show winners will be a part of what will be remembered about in early 21st quilting history. This years winner, "Scarlet Serenade", is by Sharon Schamber from Payson, Arizona.The amazing thing is that the intricate quilting was done on a on a long-arm machine. Long arm quilting may be a easier method when using templates but the wonderful detail seen on this quilt was no easy task.
