The University of Nebraska-Lincoln offers an MA program in textile history with a quilt studies emphasis. We offer both a distance delivery 'hybrid' program as well as a traditional residential program on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln campus.
Coursework includes: History of Quilts, History of Textiles, Contemporary Studio Quilt Movement, Care and Conservation of Textile Collections.
In addition, summer seminars are scheduled on a variety of topics. This summer the topic is "Printing and Dyeing Techniques of the 18th and 19th Centuries."
Internship opportunities are available for students at the International Quilt Study Center and Museum, which has more than 2300 quilts from nearly 25 countries.
