Quilting While Studying the Women of the Bible

Carol Honderich has combined her two passions, quilting and Bible study. It began with a group of women who were studying Ann Spangler and Jean Syswerda's book, "Women of the Bible". Carol began to research traditional quilt patterns to find one that typified each women in some way. The result was the Women of the Bible Quilt groups.
Soon the study reached beyond her local study group to the Internet. The study groups can be found in Yahoo Groups. It has already ran a few times and will begin again in January 2007. This study goes for over a year as it includes 54 weekly lessons. Spangler and Syswerda's book is used along with the patterns that Carol Honderich designed
