For the first time I braved it and put a quilt I made in a show. This little wall hanging
started out as a simple appliqué but once I decided to enter it I was challenged to do more.
I designed the Navajo rug style border with EQ5. When it came time to quilt I knew that
my usual 'in the ditch' wouldn't be enough so I practiced my machine quilting for several
days and then quilted the wall hanging. I don't have a lot of confidence in my machine
quilting. The machine has a way of getting out of control when I am quilting. :). I did get
it finished though and it was a great experience showing a quilt of mine for the first time.
